Although this website is not a detailed explanation of the Buddhist religion it is my intent to give you a better knowledge of the religion through some interesting facts and pictures of the religion. My purpose here is to only layout some of the basic principles of Buddhism so that maybe a greater interest or desire can be developed to learn more. The reason I have created this site is because Buddhism has been one of the most important religious forces in Asia for nearly two thousand years. There has been no other religion that has affected the culture, politics and thought of so many people. You yourself have probably been influenced by Buddhism one way or another without recognizing it.
